Dr. Robert Couch is a Pediatrician certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Couch is a 1981 graduate of Lubbock Monterey High School. He returned to Lubbock from Rhode Island where he was in private practice in for 10 years.
Dr. Couch received his undergraduate education from Baylor University and attended UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his Pediatric Residency at the University of North Carolina in 1992. Dr. Couch is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Couch and his wife, Julie, have two sons. His hobbies and special interests include biking, reading and travel.
Dr. Couch states, “I chose a career in Pediatrics because I like teaching parents and children about health and safety. I take real pleasure in helping a family get through the illnesses that come with childhood. The children have such a strong belief in the doctor’s ability to make them better and that belief always boosts your confidence as a Pediatrician. In addition to all of the above reasons for being a Pediatrician, I just have fun talking to the kids all day
