Express Care Clinic at South Plains Mall
UMC Physicians (UMCP) is offering a healthier way to shop. Express Care Clinic, UMCP’s newest walk-in facility, opened February 1st inside the South Plains Mall. It is the only medical facility located in Lubbock’s busiest shopping center. The clinic is located between Premier Cinemas and Dillard’s Woman’s. It’s accessible from inside the mall, as well as an outside entrance off 57th Street.
Open seven days a week, the urgent care facility offers treatment for acute medical needs such as flu, sore throat and minor injuries. OccMed Services provided include drug testing and pre-employment physicals.
The clinic is open from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon – 6 p.m. Sunday. Both appointments and walk-ins are accepted. Or, if you prefer, you may use PNS’s new automated program, Wait From Home, which allows you to register online at waitfromhome.com. This convenient program allows you to wait from the comfort of your home or work place until you are notified through text, phone or email when you’re approximately 15 minutes from seeing a doctor at your PNS clinic.
