Slaton Primary Medical Clinic is Slaton’s only medical clinic with a physician providing full time care for the patients. Operated by UMC Physicians, in affiliation with UMC Health System and its association with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, the clinic provides access to the most up-to-date medical research, equipment and technology in the area.
X-rays and lab are available at the clinic. Slaton Primary Medical Clinic boasts state of the art digital radiology equipment and electronic medical records (EMR). While maintaining the utmost in patient confidentiality, EMR connects all patient information to other providers in the UMC Physicians network including the UMC Emergency Department. Should you need to go to the UMC Emergency Department during hours when the clinic is closed the staff at UMC will have access to your medical history including your latest visit to the Slaton Clinic.
Slaton Primary Medical Clinic is open 8:00am to 12nonn, and 1:00 – 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Patients may call 806.828.5822 to make an appointment. If the need is urgent, patients are asked to call the clinic and every effort will be made to see the patient that same day.
